Aberdeen Mall

Aberdeen mall is a regional shopping centre located East of Kamloops proper. A recent renovation resulted in rebuilding of some of the existing HVAC equipment. Delta DDC was added on the rebuilt equipment. Since then, each time a CRU is renovated, the VAV system is added to the DDC. The expandability of the Delta system is leveraged at a resulting lower cost to the landlord.

Interior Savings Center

Interior Savings Center is a multipurpose use recreational facility located in Kamloops, B.C. There is one sheet of ice that was originally designed for use as a general skating and junior hockey rink. The building is heated and cooled by water source heat pumps. With some modifications to the control algorithm for the ice surface and the heat pumps, we were able to control the ice to within 0.2 degrees Celsius. with acceptable humidity to provide an ice surface suitable for world-class curling. As a result, the 1996 Briar was held at this facility.

Delta DDC is installed in the Kimco Kelowna corporate offices. HVAC duties include zoned control of the offices, technician areas, and warehouse area. Individual lighting control is provided and integrated with the security and Delta access control system. Each person is provided with an access "key" that allows timed access to various doors within the facility. As a portion of the facility is rented out for training, the clients are provided with "keys" that allow access to specific areas on certain days. The state of the art training lab includes a 7" Touchscreen with full integration with the ceiling mounted projector for television and computer as well as full lighting control.
