The heating/cooling system consists of about 150 water source heat pumps, a make up air unit for ventilation air, atmospheric fired boilers, and a cooling tower. Overall operation of the building HVAC systems (once initial programming is complete) is handled by the landlord's office staff via a graphical user interface.

The building is fed power from two different substations and has on-site power generation in the event of hydro failure. The HVAC system consists of a Geothermal field with water to water heatpumps for domestic hot water and water to air heatpumps for tempering ventilation air as well as cooling for tenant spaces. A Delta ORCA system has been installed for operation of the mechanical equipment. A graphical user interface allows the landlord to change time schedules and setpoints for the occupants.
