Automation Designer BMS Systems

Salary

$38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Primary Role:

• Primary role is to work with estimators, project managers, graphics techs, programmers, contractors and engineers to Design and create a Controls Design Package that meets design intent or exceeds design intent to meet Kimco standards.
  
• Review mechanical, electrical and other construction drawings, research equipment, and coordinate with suppliers for accurate information and points list count.
• Design and implement accurate control wiring points list, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences. Ability to re-create control strategy sequences to meet Kimco standard and Engineer Intent.
• Responsible for controls package submittals ensuring clear communication and intent with primarily engineers, as well as, all other contractors involved.
• Continued support to project Completion.

Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical P.Eng Designation, an asset.
• A.Sc.T C.Tech Designations, an asset.
• BMS controls experience, a must.
• Autocad, Visio, or other equivalent experience.
• Proficient knowledge of industry best practices and current regulations.
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC and Electrical systems.
• Fluent oral and written English communication skills
