Celebrating Our Team: The Kimco Controls Employee Appreciation Event

The Charros Takos truck did not disappoint. Neither did the company.

A Smoky Day in Kelowna, and Nobody Stayed Home

On Thursday, July 23, Kimco Controls took the opportunity to celebrate the people who make our company what it is. Although it was a smoky, humid summer day, that didn’t stop us from showing our employees just how much they are valued and appreciated.

Tacos, Ice Cream, and a Long Afternoon Off the Clock

We believe in recognizing our team every day, but this event gave us the chance to take our appreciation a step further. Staff enjoyed a delicious taco lunch from Charros Takos, followed by sweet treats from Sugarbee’s Ice Cream, creating the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy one another’s company.

Cornhole, Yahtzee, and a Litle bit of Magic

The afternoon was about more than great food. It was about bringing everyone together. We wanted our office staff to step away from their desks and our technicians to be welcomed back to the shop with a warm meal, great conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect. From friendly games of Yahtzee and cornhole to an unforgettable magic performance by Leif David, there was no shortage of laughter, friendly competition, and moments of amazement. Leif captivated the crowd with his incredible illusions, leaving many of us completely astonished and creating memories that will be talked about for quite some time.
