At Kimco Controls, we know that strong communities start with strong support systems for kids and teens. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the 2025 Acera Insurance Golf 4 Kids tournament, held at The Harvest Golf Club in support of BGC Okanagan.

Since 1990, Golf 4 Kids has united local businesses, community leaders, and supporters around one mission: giving children and youth safe spaces to belong, learn, and reach their full potential. Funds raised from sponsorships help BGC Okanagan deliver food and nutrition programs, mentorship, recreation, and critical supports for young people facing barriers—services that strengthen families and build brighter futures across the region.

This year’s tournament also featured the popular Golf Ball Drop raffle, with proceeds going directly to BGC Okanagan programs. We’re honoured to stand alongside Acera Insurance, fellow sponsors, and the community in backing such a powerful initiative.

The impact is clear: in 2024, the Kelowna event alone generated $136,700 for local programs, helping expand after-school care, summer activities, and youth development opportunities. By working together, we can continue to create positive change right here at home.
