Celebrating Monique: Kimco's Automation Service Administrator Transitions to Remote Work from Ontario

A send-off, but definitely not a goodbye.

Monique and her husband have made the hard decision to move back to Ontario to be closer to family. As much as they have loved the Okanagan, family is calling, and we fully support them in this next chapter.

For those who know Monique, you know exactly what kind of presence she brings to Kimco. As our Automation Service Administrator, she is incredibly organized, diligent, and always looking out for the team. But beyond the work itself, Monique has been such a steady and caring presence in our office.

She is the person who checks in on people, keeps things moving, notices the little things, and somehow even makes sure the office plants are watered. She has that natural nurturing way about her, the kind of person who quietly helps hold a team together.

We are really going to miss having Monique physically in the office every day. Her laugh, her care, her calm, and her “motherly” way of keeping everyone in line will definitely be missed.

The good news is, this is not goodbye. Monique will continue in her role with Kimco remotely from Ontario, and we are very thankful we were able to make that work. The level of service and support she provides will not change, because anyone who works with Monique knows how meticulous and committed she is to what she does.

We have already joked that we may need to get a little robot with a face camera so she can roll around the office and still keep an eye on all of us.

Monique, we hope this move is everything you and your family need it to be. We are grateful for you, we support you, and we look forward to many more years of working together, even if it is from a little farther away.
